Because we needed a remake. I really enjoyed this movie. The fact that it was based off of Greek mythology really made me love it because i've always been interested in that stuff. ^_^
The special effects were spectacular, the action got the adrenaline going, and the plot gave me that "what's going to happen next" feeling. The only disapponting part was how easily the Kraken was defeated.
When I got to the theater, the 3-D showing was sold-out or something. I had to see it in 2-D. ARGHGH.
And did anybody else notice how shiny Zeus's armour was? lol.
